Profilul de trecere se utilizeaza pentru a face trecerea intre pardoseli cu diferenta de nivel (gresie, faianta, parchet etc.), asigura un aspect estetic si acopera rosturile de dilatatie. La suprafete mari acoperite cu parchet se recomanda intreruperea parchetului, rostul fiind mascat cu profilul de trecre. Este fabricat din aliaj de aluminiu care face profilul sa fie rezistent la coroziune. Profilul are culoare gri si se comercializeaza la dimensiuni de latime de 48 mm si o lungime de 0,93 m.
