Descriere
Stabilizatorul de tensiune, cunoscut si sub denumirea de Regulator de tensiune, este un aparat electric care stabilizeaza tensiunea electrica in jurul valorii de 220V/230V, in cazul stabilizatoarelor monofazice, sau 380V in cazul stabilizatoarelor trifazice, protejand astfel echipamentele electrice si electrocasnice impotriva fluctuatiilor de tensiune, fluctuatii care pot induce functionarea defectuoasa sau chiar defectarea echipamentelor conectate la reteaua de curent electric.Stabilizatorul de tensiune isi gaseste utilitatea intr-o multitudine de situatii, dat fiind faptul ca majoritatea echipamentelor electrice, electronice si electrocasnice sunt sensibile la fluctuatiile de curent. Astfel, fie ca aveti un modem de internet, o centrala termica, o masina de spalat, un calculator sau o plasma (si enumerarea poate continua), daca tensiunea electrica fluctueaza, este sigur ca acestea nu vor functiona la parametrii normali sau se vor defecta.La achizitionarea unui stabilizator de tensiune, pe langa dotarile pe care le are in general precum display digital sau analog si protectii, trebuie sa se tina cont de faptul ca puterea reala exprimata in W (Watt) nu este echivalenta cu puterea aparenta, exprimata in VA (Volt-Amper).Puterea reala (W) se calculeaza in functie de factorul de putere.Factorul de putere variaza in functie de producator si tehnologie, in unele cazuri este 0.6, in altele 0.5.
